Our mission is to bring together the voices of Portuguese maritime expansion and the diaspora it created — African, Brazilian, and beyond — in a narrative where no perspective is secondary. Portugal, Africa, and Brazil are protagonists of the same history, each with their own truth to tell. A space for dialogue, maturity, and honesty, where the full complexity of an era that shaped the modern world is explored — without imperialism, neutral to nationalism, faithful only to human experience

An Immersive Journey Through History

Step into the past through augmented reality. Five historical figures come to life aboard the vessel — each telling their own story in their own words: the navigators who charted unknown seas, the African queen who resisted colonisation, and the Brazilian leader who built a legacy of freedom.

Through AR technology, you will also witness Lisbon as it was between the 15th and 18th centuries — the construction of the Tower of Belém, the medieval port in full activity, and the caravels preparing to depart for the unknown. Guided by specialised historians in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and supported by replica navigation instruments including the astrolabe, cross-staff, quadrant, and compass.
